GLOBAL ONCOLOGY PAYER SOLUTION DIRECTOR 

Your mission:
The Global Oncology Payer Director is responsible for leading, developing and continually enhancing market access & pricing strategies and health-economics value propositions for the Ferring Oncology portfolio achieve and/or retain optimal access (early stage, in-line and life cycle management / extension of indications), and for in-licensed  opportunities. 
S/he expects to partner cross-functionally with R&D, Business Intelligence, Commercial, Medical, Business Development, HEOR, and Regional/Local organisations and across geographies where launches are being considered or are planned. This role includes driving implementation at affiliate level. 
It reports directly to the Senior Director, Global Market Access and Pricing.


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide a market access assessment by delivering key insights through payer market research, advisory boards and other secondary analytics for oncology products in discovery to early development (pre-phase 2), and provide payer perspectives to shape the development programs of early stage assets and life cycle management, extension of indications for current assets.
  • Provide recommendations to R&D ensuring Phase 2 & 3 trials design meet patient and payer requirements
  • Develop strategies to closes data gaps where oncology trial design does not fully support payers and patients requirements.
  • Provide Payer and Patient perspective resulting in a compelling Health Economic Value proposition to support pricing and reimbursement submissions, working closely with clinical development, commercial and regional commercial teams to ensure these meet local country requirements
  • Develop Global market access & pricing strategy for products in lifecycle stages, provide recommendations in development programmes, and ensure all materials required to support price and reimbursement (HE data, Health Economic Value proposition, Global Value dossier) are developed and communicated to relevant teams

  • Contribute to building and maintenance of an enhanced Global market access & pricing expertise at Ferring; Communicate on GMAP roles and activities to the entire organisation
  • Identify environmental issues and long range planning assessments, including expert point of view on MA&P / reimbursement system reforms and evolving competitive access landscapes for the therapeutic areas

REQUIRED EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS 
  • University degree in Economics, Pharmacy, Medicine, Sciences or Economics
  • Post-graduate in HEOR an advantage
  • Fluent in English
  • At least 7-10 years of Pharma industry and extensive experience of Market Access /Reimbursement/HEOR with around 50% of time dedicated to oncology.
  • Experience of at least one major oncology product launch.
  • Solid understanding of HEOR and Global payer environment (including healthcare policy trends, P&R models, different payers / stakeholders, contracting, pricing, Health Technology Assessment dynamics)
  • Country specific or Regional (Europe, Latin America, Asia) market experience an advantage
